Boardway factory has a total of 7 production lines for PVC foam board and 1 lamination production line. The product types of expanded PVC foam board we are able to produce are PVC free foam board, PVC celuka board, PVC co-extruded board, PVC decorative board, WPC foam board and PVC concrete formwork. The width of PVC foam board that can be produced is 915mm, 1220mm, 1560mm, 2050mm. The thickness of PVC foam board ranges from 1mm to 30mm.

A high-quality PVC foam board must also have high toughness. Take an A4 size samples for bending test, it can be seen that after many times of bending, our PVC foam board has no trace of cracking at all.

Is the PVC foam board easy to be brittle after being hollowed out or cut into a small piece? We took a piece of air vent grille processed from PVC foam board to do a test. How is the result? Pretty satisfying, I guess!

The PVC foam boards that look the same in appearance, when we hammer them, some are easily destroyed, and some can resist strong hammering. So, what are the factors that determine the impact resistance of PVC foam board?
The three samples shown in the video are: ① thickness 12mm, density 0.5, normal quality; ② thickness 12mm, density 0.66, best quality; ③ thickness 16mm, density 0.5, normal quality. The test was carried out by a young male hammering the samples one by one with his greatest strength.
In simple terms, increasing the thickness is helpful to improve the impact resistance of PVC foam board. However, the decisive factor is the raw material ratio (which determines the quality) and density.

PVC foam board is a closed-cell expanded PVC board. It is a waterproof, lightweight plastic building material, that is ideal for use in humid environments. In this video, we take a bath for PVC foam board and rigid PVC sheet to see how they behave in the water. We all know that the density of water is 1.0g/cm3. Compared with water, the density of PVC foam board, is smaller than that of water, while the rigid PVC sheet has the largest density.

Hit the PVC foam board with a hammer, what will happen to it? We made an impact test on the PVC foam board. After many times of hammering, our PVC foam board did not crack or break, but only a slight depression on the board surface.

One of the reasons why many people hesitate to use pvc foam board is probably its screw-holding strength. Let's take a look at the screw-holding performance of boardway pvc foam board. Although it does not hold screws as well as wood panels. But our pvc foam boards are of high quality among similar products.

During the production, we have QC to test whether the PVC foam board is qualified. The way we confirm whether the thickness is qualified is to measure the thickness at multiple positions in the width direction of the PVC foam board. As long as the thickness tolerance is within the standard range, the thickness can be considered qualified.
